Remise Wolfganggasse

Linking ART and SPACE

The area formerly used by the Badner Bahn will be redeveloped by SORAVIA in the coming years. Until then, the historical shed will be used for various art and cultural events as an interim use project of the art initiative SoArt Space.

This magnificent industrial building is particularly impressive with its red brick masonry and the impressive interior hall as well as the wooden roof which still exists in its original state.

The combination of SORAVIA and SoArt creates a link between art and space, serving as a hotspot for residents of the district and attracting new audiences.

The project was kicked off by the pop-up restaurant Lokvogel, which served its guests exclusive meals in a special setting from mid-November until Christmas 2018. From autumn 2020, the Remise Wolfganggasse will be the setting for the play by Karl Kraus “The Last Days of Mankind” by Paulus Manker
