Linz offers a unique combination of modern, highly productive industry, a burgeoning cultural scene and relaxing nature areas.

The former main customs office dominates the whole area of Linz City Hall with its striking appearance and first-class location: this is where the city meets nature and yet the historic building is right in the heart of the town.

We allowed this combination to flow into the revitalisation of the heritage-protected building. The combination of the building’s historic fabric and contemporary architecture has yielded a space to work and live, a space which blends in elegantly with the urban location directly on the banks of the Danube.
